‘Art of Trust’ – Academy Students Create an Art Exhibition with the Help of Kids Company

Last week saw the opening event for the Kids Co/RWA ‘Art of Trust’ exhibition at the RWA Bristol running from 8th July to 16 August.

The following students did City Academy proud!

Levan Goldsworthy, Chancy Whyte, Liam Rhodes, Cynthia Nchang, Brendon Tran and Cardale Smith were all involved in an awesome, stunning, blistering, amazing performance of drumming, dance, singer and spoken word to open the exhibition!!!!!!!

Jordan Thompson, Halle Goodwin, Tyler Coles, Warfa Muse, Tyler Henry-McCotter and Osman Kari also did the City Academy proud with their art work which is being shown as part of the Art of Trust exhibition at the RWA – running from 8th July to 16th August! Check out the link http://www.rwa.org.uk/whats-on/ or better still go see the exhibition over the summer.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Carman Garaghan for driving us to and from the event and supporting the project. And also a big thanks to the Art department for their support too. You’re fabulous people!

Pictures of their pieces to follow… so watch this space.
